Happy Birthday to Us!

Six Candles on the Cake!

April 4th, 2023 is our 6 year birthday – we’ve been in business for 6 years! We made it through the pandemic and love to work with all of you wonderful quilters. To show our appreciation, we are offering a 6% discount on quilting or rental time from now to the end of April. Call 781-229-0734 or email louise@burlingtonelectricquilters.com now to book your appointment to rent or to drop off your quilt.

Vacation!

Woo-hoo, we’re going on vacation! The studio will be closed from May 24 to June 2 while we visit some of our favorite spots and people out west. We’ll be back on June 3rd, hope to see you then!

To Uganda With Love

Text Box: To Uganda with Love

We are raising funds to support Ugandans who are locked down due to Covid-19 and can’t work.  The money sent to them is used to buy food and supplies to keep them from starving.

Thanks to the generous donations of the Toomey family, we have lots of fabric available – fat quarters by the dozen, yardage in many different sizes and styles, kits and collections, panels, and scraps. Select what you want, pay a small (or large!) donation, start a new project and help our friends in Uganda.

You may leave cash in the bag or Venmo the amount of your donation to @Louise-Rains-1.

Suggested Donations
Fat Quarters $1.00
Yardage $3.00 per yard $1.50 for any half or part yard
Collections $1.00 for each fabric in collection
Kits – flying geese, embroidery, etc $8-10 or more.  Be generous!

New Pantographs!

We just purchased a couple of new pantographs that beginning longarmers are going to love.

The first one is called “Flower Child.” This is a cousin to “Spring Thing”, but ends up with a flower design instead of just loops.

Here’s what it looks like on a quilt:

The second one is called “Jax.”

Jax is a bit more advanced, but the points are gently rounded and the design flows under your machine.

Be the first to use this and we’ll post a picture of the pattern on your quilt!
